The Puppet
Place offers workshops that teach puppet design and construction.
Simple shadow and hand puppets can be taught in single sessions. The more complex rod and
marionette puppets require several sessions. Each session generally lasts from 1 to 3
hours, depending on the ability level of participants and the complexity of the puppet.
These workshops are very popular with park district programs, preschools, elementary
schools, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and day care centers. |
